my list of natural products
Remember the day I went crazy about healthy skin and decided to switch to all natural?
Yeah, I wish i could forget too. (just kidding)
But, I wanted to share some of my favorite new products and give you a full list of affordable cleaning supplies, cosmetics and soaps that are safe and natural--and often available at regular stores. It took me 6 hours to compile this list so I thought, why not let the world know about it? That way we all don't waste 6 hours on Skin Deep, trying to decide between products :)

A few things I want to mention: just because Burt's Bees, Revlon and Physician's Formula are listed doesn't mean all of their products are natural and safe. In fact, anything not listed here from these companies is not toxic-free. Revlon is the only drugstore brand lipstick that doesn't always include toxins and harsh chemicals (like lead)--honestly, it's all dependent on color/shade. Since lipsticks are often one of the products rated highest in toxicity, I would suggest going to the store and writing down the colors you like, then checking on Skin Deep before you buy.
So far, I'm using the Canus Fragrance Free Goat's Milk Bar Soap as my new body wash. I really like this product because I can buy it in the grocery store and it only costs $3.00. It just smells clean, which I prefer. For face wash, I tried Burt's Bees Orange Essence but wasn't a fan of the smell. I'm now using Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Soap, and it's amazing! The smell is clean as well, and olive oil has been proven to do wonders for your skin.
I haven't switched out my shampoo and conditioner yet. It's hard to find safe products in stores. Jason's Naturals are at the grocery store, but I'm not sure how I feel about fragrance free shampoo. I mean, this girl wants her hair to smell good, am I right?
I hope this list serves you well. Have you changed any of your skincare habits? I'd love to hear what you're using!
