Today marks the one year anniversary of this little blog. Can you believe it? I know I can't. I feel like I've just started out, and at the same time, I feel like it's been much longer. A strange relationship we have with blogging. It becomes a part of you, this documenting and photographing of life.
I started this blog a year ago when Eric and I were doing long-distance full time, as a way for me to cope, and share my design ideas for our future apartment. Since then, I've changed the name and focus of my blog probably four times, but I finally feel content with it. I love blogging about women's issues, my fiction stories, my faith, and now my business. With the opening of my shop, I decided to re-do my blog design--completely by myself (which was certainly a feat). I started over, added a bit of soft lavender and updated the layout. It was definitely a labor of love, but I think a new blog design further marks my transition into handmade business.
In honor of this little day, I would like to say thank you. To all of you. To everyone who reads my daily posts. To those of you who comment, open up your hearts and seek friendship. I have developed so many great relationships here on the blogosphere, and I'm so grateful for each and every one. It means a lot to write and be heard, to share and be embraced.
This blog would not have grown at all if it weren't for your support. So, I'd like to extend free shipping on my jewelry shop, from now until this Saturday, June 29th. I can't wait to see my little shop grow, just like this blog has, and hopefully will continue to do.
Have a beautiful and happy Tuesday.
