Yes, I know--it's a photo overload. But that's only because dear sweet Megan of Beautiful Moments was kind enough to photograph my jewelry. And did such an amazing job, I had to share here on the blog. I can't thank her enough for her help and talent. These photos truly bring out the beauty of my jewelry, and helps me see them in a new way.
In a month and a half, I have made 10 sales. It may not seem like a lot, but for opening during the absolute slowest month of the year--and slowest month Etsy has seen in a few years, apparently--I've been reassured it is great news. And I have to agree. I feel so much gratitude for the people who have bought a piece of my jewelry, and those who continue to support me with their words, blog posts and comments.
Which brings me to my goal. By September 1st, I need to sell a total of 30 pieces of jewelry. That gives me exactly 30 days, starting today, to sell the remaining 20.
Which would mean doubling what I'm doing right now.
Honestly, I know I can do it. But I need your help.
(save and use this photo to help me spread the word^^)
I am doing the Purpose Project for Clean Water through The Mocha Club. Until September 1st, I will donate $10 of every sale toward The Mocha Club's Clean Water Project--which means so far, I've raised $100. I'm a third of the way there.
If I reach 30 sales by September 1st, that will mean $300 towards The Mocha Club. Maybe it doesn't seem like a lot--but $300 gives 10 orphans clean water in Sudan, Kenya and Malawi.
Here's what I need from you:
-Spread the word! Tell family, friends, coworkers, future brides, everyone!
-Take a day this weekend to blog about what I'm doing, using the photo above.
-Tweet about my project! Use the hashtag, #30in30jewelry
-Instagram about my project, #30in30jewelry and the photo above!
-Buy a necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings for yourself, a friend or a loved one.
-Pray for me.
If I reach my goal of 30 sales by Sept. 1st and give $300 to The Mocha Club, I will expand my jewelry collection and add 10 new pieces!
One of my goals in opening this jewelry shop was to eventually donate $1 of all sales toward a cause of my choosing. I'm hoping through my Purpose Project, I will set the stage for this to happen even sooner than I imagined.
I really hope I can reach my goal before September 1st. To be honest, I'm pretty scared and really nervous, but I know I need to take this leap of faith. Just go for it.
So I'm going for it.
Thank you so much, friends.
