1. Wearing: ballet flats and neutrals. As my fashion sense continues to shift, I've found myself drawn to the basics again, and I'm happy about it. You can find my inspiration here.

2. Capturing: this beautiful wild mess of flora during our evening walks. It's just so pretty and colorful. I love snapping photos of flowers.

3. Eating: blueberry muffins. I think it's safe to say E and I are a bit addicted to muffins. We have continued to make them a habit during our weekend splurges.

4. Enjoying: downtown. The little square in the cloudy afternoons during work is pretty empty and peaceful. I like sitting by the fountain and just watching, listening and thinking.

5. Making: earrings for the shop. The Felicity necklace is such a great staple for any wardrobe, and I wanted to add a matching pair of earrings to make it a set. They are so pretty and delicate.

6. Writing: short stories like it's my job. I've had three or four ideas floating around in my head and I finally got pieces of them all down on paper. You can read the finished one here.

7. Waiting: for customers. I've been so discouraged lately by my lack of sales on my shop, but I have to remind myself it will happen in time. I'm so passionate about making this shop my focus, and I really hope this week I make my second sale. Cross your fingers for me?

Where did this summer go? Today marks July 1st on the calendar and I'm feeling a little restless. We still haven't found the time to make it to the beach, although we did grab dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Bella's. I had an amazing dish of Pear Sachet--pasta purses filled with cheeses and pears, covered in peas and a creamy saffron sauce. It was delicious; in fact, I still have a bit left that I took home with me. Maybe I'll enjoy the rest of it for lunch today.
