Good morning lovlies! Today I'd like to introduce you to this week's Wonderfully Made Woman, Heather from Tickled Yellow! Last week she wrote a beautiful and heartfelt post about loving herself, and I knew I just had to have her share here. Heather's blog is full of honesty and wit!
Hi there, I'm Heather, a pastor's wife and storyteller. I am an English major who hates grammar, a wife who can't cook, and a twenty-something who still doesn't quite know what I want to do when I grow up. I'm still figuring it all out, but I've discovered that one of the best ways to do that is write about it as I go, hence my blog, Tickled Yellow. This is where I pour out my heart and discover God's grace is places I would have never thought to look. If you like embarrassing pastor's wife stories (like the time my pantyhose fell off my legs in front of the congregation), I think we'd get along just fine.
Three things I love about myself:
1. My klutziness.
It's led to a lot of embarrassing moments on dates and job interviews, but I always have something to laugh about.
2. My red hair.
Even if it does come with sunburns and invisible eyelashes.
3. My confidence in who I am.
And by that I mean I've accepted that I'm basically a grandma who would rather scrapbook and watch I Love Lucy than whatever is on TV (Dr. Who? Downton Abbey? If it weren't for twitter I would have no idea what people are watching these days.)
Random Question: If you could have been born in any other time period, which would you choose?
I would have been a teenager in the 1950s. I'm thinking about writing up a petition to bring back poodle skirts.
Thanks, Heather! Be sure to check out her awesome blog :)
